Researching images for the film was the most of the project. Click on the image of Frances Brammar on the left to view some vintage pictures taken during Cheyenne Frontier Days. These images were taken by a variety of photographers during the 1940s through the 1960s.
The image on the left is an interesting one because it shows how Bram is waiting for the action to turn towards him before even raising his camera.
I don’t know if you had your pix taken by Bram, but he would raise his camera, frame it up, look away to avoid the flash and get everyone’s names.

The guy had a thing for good looking women and Cheyenne Frontier Days.
Sue Casteneda compiled a book about Brammar. Which can be purchased at the Wyoming State Museum gift store for $15.95 entitled “One-Shot Brammar”
I also used a number of postcard images. These were gathered from a variety of sources, ebay auctions, junk stores, my personal collection and other family artifacts.
All of the black and white images are courtesy of the Wyoming State Museums and Archives Department. They are all available to be downloaded from my facebook page, but if you use them, please remember to give them credit.
